My journey with yoga began in 2005 when I took my first class to stretch out and loosen up the tightness in my body that developed from twenty years of cycling. Within the first year of practice, my body was transforming and becoming more supple both on and off of the bike. The physical benefits were creating mental fitness as well. Yoga provided the space to slow down and my mind became calmer amidst the inevitable ups and downs that life brings.

Wanting to share these benefits with others I went to a teacher training at YogaWorks in Larkspur. I discovered that both practicing and teaching yoga felt natural. Since then, I’ve been practicing, teaching, and learning about yoga at numerous studios around the Bay Area and beyond. I hope that you will join me on the mat!
